Production Update! Tooling Process for Injection Molds Underway

I am excited to share that we are back in action! The production facility in China has started the tooling process for our injection molds. This marks a major milestone for our team, and also means your 🏄Groove Vest 🎶 is one step closer to arriving at your door!

A mold is made from hollowed out material (aluminum, steel, alloys or copper) and sets the shape of whatever product that is being made. Because designing plastic parts is a complex task that involves many factors, extreme care is required to ensure quality standards are met.

Bellow, you will see a picture of a mold of the speaker enclosures that will house your private rock concert 🤘 This process should be completed in 7-14 days.

After the molds are made, molten plastic material will be forced into the middle of the mold. Next, the material cools down and hardens to form the end product, like carbonite Hon Solo in the Emporor Strikes Back. Han Solo Carbonite

The factory will fabricate the speaker units into the vest, and send us samples for review. It is estimated to take one week to produce these samples. I will send another update once this begins.

New call-to-action
